Past Studs and Dams
Some of our past mommas and poppas:
Gus was one of our foundation sires. Born in 2005, and living to the ripe old age of 16.
A black-headed tricolor, he was on the smaller side, as are most of our corgis, weighing usually around 23 to 24lbs. Fetch was the best game ever invented in his mind. But herding cattle was one of his favorite “jobs”. He started learning to herd cattle as a puppy, and loved to work hard, as well as hike, and then cuddle at the end of a long day.

Clara was one of our foundation dams. She was a redheaded tricolor, born in 2008, and living until 2023 when she passed at the age of 15. She was a superb momma dog for us, raising several litters before she retired. Like all of our corgis, she weighed in around 21 – 22 pounds.

Call was our second foundation sire. Also a black-headed tricolor, he was a little larger boned than Gus, and weighed in around 24-25 pounds. His temperament was very laid back and exceptionally, “un-stud-like” for a stud dog. Over the years, he helped raise and train several of our new replacement stock.
